Hampden & Co was delighted to sponsor and present the ‘Working with Communities’ award at Scottish Land & Estates’ Helping It Happen Awards 2023.
The award was won by Communities Housing Trust, the social enterprise charity, in recognition of their work engaging communities throughout Scotland to promote, support and develop affordable housing plans, and the wider benefit these bring.
Also shortlisted and commended by the judges in the Working with Communities category were Highland Cinema, for their work to improve the social life and environment in Fort William, and Pick-ups For Peace, a charity sending vital aid to support Ukraine during the recent conflict.
The winners were announced on 3 October at a gala dinner held at Edinburgh’s Sheraton Hotel.
Presenting the award on behalf of Hampden & Co, Head of Private Banking, Scotland, Mark Prentice said “Congratulations to Communities Housing Trust and all the other worthy award winners.
